Type J

(i)    A dot near the lower right corner and another near the frame below right centre; and

(ii)    A weak horizontal line on the upper left (the 9th from the bottom).

Types I and J will be found with a straight edge at the bottom.


NOTE. All of the subjects of Plate 88 have a wide break in the bottom line of the right numeral box. On Plate 87 the break in some subjects is narrower or has been repaired by retouching, and on a few others the line is unbroken though not retouched.
